WRAP is Crowdfunding!

2020 has taught us two things.

First, the days of commuting to the traditional office space five times a week are over. But second, people don’t want to spend all their time at home either.

Demand is soaring for a new type of workspace; a ‘third space’ that wraps up the best bits of working from home with the best bits of the office. Down in buzzing Brighton, WRAP is gearing up to meet that demand.

Upstairs, WRAP is beautiful shared and private offices with meeting and event space, perfect for contractors, freelancers, part-timers and flexi-workers.  Downstairs, it’s a stylish café and a state-of-the-art nursery and creative play centre, perfect for kids and working parents. Sustainably designed. Centrally located. And opening its doors in the spring of 2021.

“We’ve always wanted to build a place where families can work, rest and play together,” says WRAP cofounder and parent Ed Patey. “And the response and interest in WRAP has been phenomenal! We’re almost 90% funded, coworking membership is already at 127% of our opening target and our nursery is at 98%.”

The response isn’t surprising. Despite the challenges of 2020 – and in many ways because of them – the potential for growth in the coworking industry has never been higher. Earlier this year, a global study by CoworkingResources predicted: “Almost 5 million people will be working from coworking spaces by 2024, an increase of 158% compared to 2020”. And that was before the year’s events made everyone really start to question that commute to central HQ!

“We’re on course to open our doors in the spring,” says Ed. “Now  we’re looking to our amazing community for help to get us over the line. Check out our Crowdfunding Page  https://wrap.space/crowdfunding and help us bring the future of coworking to Brighton – and beyond!”
